The Japanese RION VT-06 viscometer uses the principle of a rotating cylinder.
A rotor that runs at a constant speed is inserted into the liquid to be tested. The viscosity of the liquid causes the movement of the rotor to be resisted. The resistance is measured by a special mechanical device. Direct reading (dPa·S)
