We know Visual testing (VT) is one of methods of non-destructive testing of optical type. It is based on obtaining information about the tested material with the help of visual observation or of optical and measuring instruments. The VT often precedes or is carried out together with other tests, and it is fundamental for the correct interpretation of results. Visual testing method allows detecting discontinuities, deviations of the size and shape from the specified ones for more than 0.1 mm when using instruments with magnification up to 10x.visual inspection has the aim to get a qualitative and dimensional analysis of the item according to specific acceptability criteria, whose evaluation must imply measurement instruments for an accurate sizing of the imperfections.
